As a NABCEP certified PV designer and engineer with over 7 years of experience in the renewable energy field, I have developed a diverse skillset in the design, installation, and troubleshooting of various installations, including grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid systems. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on numerous projects across the United States for clients in various locations such as CT, MA, NY, NJ, UT, CA, TX, WI, and PA. My core area of expertise lies in hybrid and off-grid design, which involves the utilization of energy storage as a primary power source in conjuction with solar photovoltaic. My hands-on experience includes system sizing and layout, conductor sizing, bill of materials development, as well as civil, structural, and electrical details. I am proficient in using Aurora and Helioscope modeling and analysis software to analyze and optimize solar designs. Additionally, I have experience in creating residential solar+storage plan sets, conducting NEC electrical load calculations, and producing ResCheck reports and Manual J Heating & Cooling Load Reports.
