I am passionate about energy efficiency​,​ building decarbonization​,​ clean energy equity​,​ energy benchmarking​,​ and sustainable infill and transit-oriented communities. Retired from the California Energy Commission​,​ I've supervised teams working to improve energy efficiency​,​ reduce greenhouse gas emissions from existing buildings​,​ and promote clean energy equity in disadvantaged communities and tribal lands.
