Hello, I'm Eva O.
Experience in Certifying LEED projects such as Core and Shell, Commercial Interiors, Retail Interiors, New Construction, and currently getting involved in LEED Homes, O+M, Hospitality, and Warehouse and Dstr Cntrs. During these eight years I've been involved in LEED projects from the bidding process through the certification delivery to the client. Preliminary project analysis during bidding phase is to provide information about the feasibility of the project for LEED certification process and evaluate if the investment is feasible for the client. Sustainable aspects coordination during design phase, the project is reviewed in order to verify that LEED aspects are being considered to comply the project's objectives before sending it to construction site and avoid additional expenses and minimizing change orders during construction execution. On site LEED audits during construction phase to ensure practices and activities, erosion and sedimentation control follow up, material diversion, and indoor air quality control during this phase. Commissioning and Verification Process and final certification delivery: When the project has a progress of 50% - 70% we schedule the first commissioning visit in order to verify MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) equipment and installations, this phase is called pre-functional verification. By the beneficial delivery a second visit is scheduled in order to carry out functional verifications of MEP equipment and installations and close issues and observations made in the pre-functional verification process phase. This way we finish with the certification process of projects and deliver the certification awarded by USGBC once the review process has been evaluated and determined.
