ESG Reporting & Disclosure | Sustainability Program Manager
Expert profile
I am a seasoned professional with over a decade of extensive experience in program and project management, analytics, business intelligence, and corporate social responsibility and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. I hold a Master's degree in Sustainability from Harvard University, and have earned graduate certificates specializing in Corporate Sustainability & Innovation and International Development and Policy. In June 2023, I will become a certified Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) through the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. My most recent position was as the ESG Reporting & Program Manager at Catalyze, a prominent clean energy transition company specializing in the development, construction, ownership, and operation of solar, battery storage, and electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions for industrial and commercial real estate customers. In this role, I played a pivotal part in integrating sustainability into the organization's core business strategy and ensuring its readiness for the evolving ESG reporting landscape. Before joining Catalyze, I worked as a consultant, where my responsibilities included developing climate action plans, conducting greenhouse gas emissions inventories, designing informative workshops for supplier climate action plans (SCAP), and providing limited-third party assurance of emissions data for public and private clients, including federal agencies like USAID. Additionally, I gained valuable experience while working on the enterprise sustainability team at Campbell Soup Company. There, I was involved in supporting the entire corporate responsibility and sustainability program, which encompassed tasks such as writing a quarterly sustainability newsletter, working with consultants to transition the company to science-based targets (SBTi), and overseeing data collection (qualitative and quantitative) and submissions for various sustainability reporting raters and rankers. While I am open to collaborating with companies of all sizes and growth stages, I believe that I can make the most significant impact by assisting smaller, growing, organizations that require expertise and capacity in areas such as data preparation and cleansing for sustainability reporting, project planning for integration with third-party ESG reporting solutions like FigBytes and Brightest, and the development of policies and associated programs such as sustainable procurement policies, supplier group identification, ratings software selection (e.g., EcoVadis), and supplier onboarding. If you find yourself thinking that your organization may not be quite ready for these initiatives, don't worry. I can also help design a corporate sustainability program and strategy that is tailored to your organization, guiding you towards your sustainability goals. My areas of expertise include but are not limited to: - Greenhouse gas accounting (GHG Protocol, PCAF, ISO 14064) - Climate action plan development (including suppliers, Tier 1-3) - Peer & industry benchmarking - Gap analyses & assessments - Materiality assessments (single and double) - Reporting & disclosure frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDSB, EcoVadis, TCFD, CDP) - Raters & rankers (Sustainalytics, MSCI, Corporate Knights, DJSI, ISS-oekem, vigeo eiris) - Global goals & principles (UNGC, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, UN SDG's) - Corporate social responsibility (strategy and implementation) - Data visualization and dashboard development (Tableau) *Rate will vary depending on scope of work **Rate card for standardized work products available upon request
